Frequently Asked Questions

Yes, all abstract artwork and ceramics created by Breda Stack and Lightbridge are original. Paintings are one-offs and I produce fine-art-quality giclée prints of these paintings.

You’ll find many of my paintings under the Gallery page here. Should you be interested in a print of a painting that’s not displayed under the Blessings or St. Brigid prints sections, please let me know and I’ll look into getting a print of this made for you.

All St. Brigid Fonts and Goddess Bowl ceramics are one-off originals, handmade by me. Please get in touch if you’ve queries about any of the pieces you see.

I’ll be continually updating the Lightbridge website so please check back in periodically for new print and ceramic additions!

All print product images on the website are in low resolution to enable faster page loading times and optimum website performance, so the images won’t convey the sharpness of the artwork as seen in person. Please note also that your device’s monitor may not reflect the brightness of colour of prints or ceramics that you see in person.

I produce giclée prints on a selection of paintings (most of these prints have been featured or awarded one or more times in International art competitions and exhibitions) as a cost-effective way to own a piece you love, or get hold of an excellent reproduction of an original painting that is no longer available. These prints are from the Blessings series and the St. Brigid Elements series.

Offering a variety of print sizes to work with a particular wall space or even an existing frame, our prints based on square-canvas paintings typically come in two or three sizes; Small and Medium or Small, Medium and Large. Depending on the original piece, my prints based on rectangle-canvas paintings tend to come in either Small, Medium and Large, Medium and Large or just Medium. If you’d like a different-sized print, please get in touch with me here and I’ll look into whether we can work with any specific scale or dimensions.

All print measurements on the website are in inches and approximate in that they are rounded to the nearest quarter of an inch. You can convert to centimetres with this online conversion tool here.

For optimum website speed and performance, we use low resolution files for all product images – please note they may not fully convey the sharpness or quality of the prints that you see in person.

The French word “giclée” means to spray, and my prints are created through an advanced process in which pigmented ink is sprayed using a large format ink-jet printer onto archival paper.

Used in the production of sophisticated fine art all around the world, industry-leading giclée is the only fine art print to be made in this way today.

Our giclée print specialist first takes a high-resolution photograph of the painting to ensure the print is as close as possible to the original painting. The use of durable, premium-quality 255gsm cotton rag archival paper also ensures the colours on the print won’t fade.

Capturing every last detail of the original, giclée offers exceptional colour and tonal ranges. Results are highly consistent and giclée prints can last for as long as 100 years.

Yes, all prints come unframed, helping minimise the cost of the purchase as well as shipping and enabling you to choose a suitable off-the-shelf or professional frame that complements the décor of your specific wall and room.

Each print has a border of approximately one to two inches around the outside to allow for easy framing. Please see images on the Home and About pages to get an idea of how the Prints look framed.

My St. Brigid Fonts come in a lovely brown craft gift box with box insert with product information and a 100ml glass bottle with sacred water from St. Brigid’s well in Shanagarry, Newcastle West, Co. Limerick.

My Goddess Bowls do not come in a gift box but have an insert in the bowl with product information.
